New Delhi: In a tragic incident of road rage, a 21-year-old delivery agent, Mahesh, was killed following a dispute over his two-wheeler brushing against a car near GKVK in Bengaluru’s Vidyaranyapura on Wednesday evening. The confrontation escalated quickly, leading to Mahesh's untimely death. 

Argument turns deadly

The incident began when Mahesh’s two-wheeler accidentally grazed a car occupied by Aravind and Keshav. An argument ensued between the three men. As Mahesh attempted to leave the scene, Aravind and Keshav, suspecting that he was trying to escape, pursued him for nearly a kilometer. In a shocking turn of events, they knocked Mahesh off his vehicle, leading to a fatal accident.

Fatal impact

The impact of the collision was devastating. Mahesh’s head was crushed between a compound wall and a pole, killing him instantly. At the time of the accident, Mahesh was not wearing a helmet, which likely contributed to the severity of his injuries. 

Investigation underway

Mahesh, a resident of Chamundeshwari Layout, was pursuing a second-year degree while working as a delivery agent. He was with his friends, Balaji and Nikhil, just before the altercation began. Following the incident, Vidyaranyapura Police arrested Aravind and Keshav on charges of murder. The case has sent shockwaves through the community, highlighting the deadly consequences of road rage.
