Lifeline to daily commuters, the Namma Metro services on the Purple Line will be temporarily suspended from 7 am to 9 am on Sunday between MG Road and Indiranagar stations. The temporary suspension of the services has been announced by the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) citing the necessary facilitation of maintenance work in the section between MG Road and Trinity Metro stations.According to the information, the services will be available from MG Road to Challaghatta and from Indiranagar to Whitefield during the maintenance period. However, from 9 am onwards, the entire Purple Line will resume normal operations, as per sources. The BMRCL clarified that Green Line services will continue to operate without any interruptions, ensuring minimal disruptions to the daily commuters. Commuters are advised to plan their journeys accordingly, to avoid any inconvenience.
