New Delhi: A shocking incident has come to light from Karnataka's Bengaluru where one person died and another suffered serious burn injuries after a suspicious blast occurred at a house on Monday. It is suspected that a fire broke out after a cooker exploded in a house near JP Nagar's 24th Main Udupi Upahar. Authorities from central and state agencies have arrived at the scene and begun investigating the cause of the fire and explosion.

According to reports, two young men named  Samir and Mohsin from Uttar Pradesh were critically injured in the explosion. While Samir received timely medical attention and is currently undergoing treatment for burn injuries at Victoria Hospital, Mohsin succumbed to his injuries, sustaining 60% burns, and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.

Authorities on high alert after explosion

The explosion was so powerful that it destroyed the house, scattering debris everywhere, and also sparked a fire. Initially, police thought a cooker explosion was the cause, but upon further investigation, they found burnt wires in the room, which has raised suspicions and prompted a continued investigation to determine the exact cause of the blast.

The blast has put authorities on high alert, coming just days before India's Independence Day celebrations on August 15. The incident is being treated with utmost seriousness, drawing comparisons to the Rameswaram Cafe blast, which was initially thought to be a gas cylinder explosion but later revealed to be a terrorist attack, prompting a thorough probe to uncover any potential links or motives.
