Behind closed doors: Maulvi rapes minor inside madarssa in UP; Here's what happned next

In the Uttar Pradesh district of Rampur, there is a startling example of a little pupil being raped inside a madrassa. Azizul Rehman has been recognized as the accused. He was the Maulana of Jamia Arabia, Sirajul Uloom Madrassa, where he taught pupils religious lessons. He vowed to kill the victim if he notified anybody about his actions after carrying out the horrible deed. Additionally, the accused once attempted to bring the youngster to his house.

What transpired?

The victim's father had made a report, and on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, the police filed a formal complaint (FIR). Maulana Azizul was duly apprehended by the Police. This incident happened in the Rampur district's Azimnagar police station jurisdiction. Jamia Arabia Sirajul Uloom is the name of the madrasa located in Nanglia Ankil hamlet. In this madrasa, there is also a fifteen-year-old student from the Rampur neighborhood of Milak Khanam.

The parent complained that his kid was enrolled in Islamic education at the madrasa, where students are taught by Maulana Azizul Rehman. He lives in the village that the madrassa is situated in. The lawsuit claims that throughout the course of the previous year, the accused, Maulana, sexually assaulted the juvenile victim by taking off her pajamas and engaging in unethical intercourse multiple times.

According to the allegations, Maulana would sometimes entice the kid and other times threaten him. Following the minor's sexual attack, Azizul would threaten to murder the victim if he told anybody about his actions. The Maulana began putting pressure on the victim to come to his residence on Monday, June 24. The student made it out of there and made it home somehow.

Police action on the incident

Teams of police were assembled, and they set about searching for the Maulana right away. On Tuesday, just a few hours later, the accused, Maulana, was taken into custody. In this matter, an investigation is being conducted along with other legal proceedings. He told his family about his ordeal when he got home.

The victim's father reported something to the police the following day. Following that, the police filed a First Information Report (FIR) against Maulana Azizul by Sections 3/4 of the POCSO Act and Sections 377 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
