In a peculiar incident from Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, a newlywed bride left her husband and in-laws stunned on the first night of marriage by making an unusual demand. She asked for beer, marijuana, and goat meat during the traditional "Muh Dikhai" ritual, creating a dramatic turn of events.

Unusual demands on wedding night

The groom initially agreed to fulfill his wife’s request for a beer but grew alarmed when she expanded her demands to include marijuana and goat meat. The bride's insistence on these items bewildered the family, who found the requests unacceptable. Unable to meet her demands, the situation escalated, and the family decided to take the matter to the local police station.

At the station, both families were counselled to resolve the matter amicably. While no formal complaint was lodged, the incident took an unexpected turn when the groom's family alleged that the bride was not a biological female but a member of the third gender.
