A horrific incident has been reported from Tamil Nadu where a 35-year-old man has been brutally attacked to death by a group of six men. The brutal killing took place on the busy road of Tirunelveli, in front of a restaurant in Palayamkottai around 1 PM on Monday. According to the officials, they are trying to get hint through the CCTV installed in the area.Victim has been identified as Deepak, who, according to the sources, can be seen scurrying among parked automobiles in the CCTV clip as he tries to get away from his attackers. But the six men quickly had him pinned to the ground, striking him repeatedly with sickles and billhooks. At least twelve hacks were made on Deepak by the attackers, seriously hurting his head and limbs. Despite being clearly visible to the public, no one stepped in to stop the attack, the sources claimed.Deepak succumbed to death on the road as the six males in the group drove away from the scene of the crime. After the police arrived, they removed the body from the spot and sent it to the Tirunelveli Government Medical College Hospital to be examined postmortem.Meanwhile, the Palayamkottai police have registered a murder case against the six men involved and started the investigation. The incident spot has been inspected with sniffer dogs as the part of procedure, according to police officials.The officials are trying to find out the motive behind the murder. The investigation in the case has been initiated.
