The BJP Parliamentary meeting took place this morning in the Parliament premises. This was the first time when the meeting happened in the ongoing second part of the session. The party leaders were urged by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was present at the BJPs parliamentary party gathering, to be prepared for a challenging battle against the opposition. The reason he stated, the more the party will rise and succeeds, the more will be attacks by the opposition. According to the information, the Prime Minister said, “The more, the BJP continues to taste success and rise, the more the attacks from the other side will increase. Have to be ready for a strong fight”.The meeting began with the BJP MPs congratulating the PM Modi for the big wins in the Assembly Elections in three north-eastern states. During the meet, PM Modi was facilitated by the party leaders of Tripura, Meghalaya and Nagaland where they have coalition government.At a time when the House is under logjam, the opposition has been pushing for a JPC on the Adani-Hindenburg issue, and the BJP has asked Rahul Gandhi to apologise for disparaging Prime Minister Modi.The BJP and NDA MPs continue to criticise the congress party and Rahul Gandhi for insulting Veer Savarkar and the OBC group, while the opposition parties continue to term Rahul Gandhis removal as a member of the Lok Sabha an attack on democracy.The opposition party leaders on Monday, wearing the black attire staged a protest and marched from Parliament complex to Vijay chowk against the Central government over the JPC probe in Adani case. Congress president Mallikaarjun Kharge lashed out at Centre over the Adani case and Rahul Gandhis disqualification as Lok Sabha MP and said that they all were wearing the black clothes as democracy is being trampled in the country by Centre.“I thank the opposition leaders for raising their voices against Rahul Gandhis disqualification. Why are we here in black clothes We want to show that PM Modi is ending democracy in the country. He first finished autonomous bodies, then they put up their own government everywhere by threatening those who had won polls. Then they used ED, CBI to use bend those who didnt bow,” Kharge said.The BJP Parliamentary meeting has been attended by the senior party leaders as well, which includes, Amit Shah and JP Nadda.Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal stated to the media that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had asked the party leaders to publicise and promote various government programmes for a month starting on May 15 in their respective constituencies to mark the programs ninth anniversary between the dates of April 6 and April 14 to promote social justice.PM Modi also asked the party leaders to learn the new technology, saying not knowing something should not be the reason for the using it. He also urged the politicians to work towards the non-political causes as they have a lot of impact on the people of society. In context to Beti Bachaao campaign, they had a great impact on the people which helped the state to improve on their gender issue.In reference to the persistent opposition protests, PM Modi said during the Gujarat elections the attacks from the opposition parties will become more intense and low-level. As BJP will more and more elections, the opposition will intensify the protests and remarks.Reportedly, this was BJPs first parliamentary meeting after their win in three states in the recent assembly elections. During the assembly elections, party was able to retains its position in Tripura, where as its alliance also won the polls in Nagaland while the party again joined hands with the NPP to be part of the Meghalaya government.
