AAP counters BJPs Batoge to Katoge remark: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday issued a sharp response to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanaths controversial remark, “Batoge to Katoge” (If you divide, youll be cut off), with its own retort, “Batoge to Barbaad ho Jaoge” (If you divide, you will be ruined). The AAP accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of using divisive tactics and warned that the party is threatening the constitutional integrity of the nation.AAP leader Sanjay Singh asserted, “The BJP is a party driven by attacks and slogans. They are unable to function without spreading discord and hatred. How many schools and hospitals have they built since coming to power in Uttar Pradesh They only rely on provocative slogans during elections. To Dalits, backward classes, tribals, and minorities across the country, I say, if you allow division, you will be ruined. The BJP will eliminate Baba Sahebs reservation policies and the Constitution.”AAPs padyatra to continue through November and DecemberSpeaking on AAPs preparations for the Delhi Assembly elections, Singh highlighted the padyatra (foot march) campaign led by party chief Arvind Kejriwal across various constituencies in Delhi. The campaign, which has garnered significant public support, aims to showcase AAPs developmental work in the capital.“The BJP tried to hinder this yatra by inciting attacks on Arvind Kejriwal. Today, were relaunching the second phase of the padyatra from Rajouri Garden,” Singh stated. He added that the padyatra will continue throughout November and December to raise awareness among citizens about how AAPs projects in Delhi are being obstructed.Singh also pointed out that the Delhi government is building Chhath Ghats for the Chhath Puja, making it possible for residents unable to travel to UP or Bihar to celebrate locally. The BJP wants to stop such initiatives, but we are committed to providing these spaces for our brothers who want to celebrate Chhath right here in Delhi,” Singh said.AAP calls on BJP to compete through public serviceThe AAP leader criticized the BJP, challenging them to “compete with work, not words.” Responding to BJPs criticism of Kejriwals promise to waive water bills, Singh reminded voters of the “tanker mafia” era before Kejriwals administration. “Until 2012, a term was popular—tanker mafia. In the last 10 years, Arvind Kejriwal has put an end to that mafia, ensuring free, clean drinking water reaches residents. The bills, which rose due to administrative lapses, will be waived once we return to office in February,” Singh said.
