The incident occurred while the woman was staying at her maternal home following a dispute with her husband. The accused, identified as Sombir, allegedly took advantage of the womans vulnerable state, promising to help her through her difficulties. Instead, he lured her to a hotel near Satellite Bus Station under the pretext of marriage, where he assaulted her and filmed the crime.According to the victims complaint, Sombir is now using the video to blackmail her, threatening to make it public if she doesnt comply with his demands. The terrified woman, who initially confided in her husband about the incident, has now turned to the police for help. The police have registered a case based on the victims complaint and have conducted a medical examination.
