Bandra gang-rape case: In a deeply disturbing case that once again raises concerns about women's safety in the city, an 18-year-old girl was gang-raped in Bandra after being given a spiked drink. Police have arrested one of the two accused, a 31-year-old man, while the second suspect remains on the run. A case has been filed at the Nirmal Nagar Police Station, and authorities are actively searching for the absconding perpetrator.

According to reports, the horrific incident unfolded when the accused convinced the victim that he would drop her off at her uncle’s house. Instead, the man made her sit in a car and offered her water laced with a sedative. After consuming the drink, the teenager lost consciousness, making her vulnerable to the heinous crime.

Sources close to the investigation revealed, "The accused gave her a sedative in a water bottle, which caused her to pass out. Once she was unconscious, the men raped her and later threatened to kill her if she reported the crime."

One accused arrested

The police have acted swiftly in arresting one of the accused, but the search for the second suspect is still ongoing. Officers from the Nirmal Nagar Police Station are continuing their efforts to apprehend the absconding individual.
