Bambiha gang network and operations: A comprehensive dossier on the Bambiha gang reveals that the notorious syndicate is led by Kaushal Chaudhary, who oversees operations across Gurgaon and Haryana alongside his associate Amit Dagar. The dossier exposes the gang’s sprawling network, active in several states, with connections extending overseas.

What is the Bambiha gang’s operational, leadership structure?

Security agencies have mapped out the Bambiha gang’s activities, identifying approximately 100 members linked to a series of high-profile crimes. The gang recently captured headlines after an audacious shooting at a businessman’s residence in northwest Delhi, with demands for a staggering Rs 10 crore in extortion money. Chaudhary, known as the India operations chief, holds control in Gurgaon and parts of Haryana, while jailed gangster Neeraj Bawana and his associate Naveen Bali dominate areas in outer Delhi and Rohini.

According to the dossier, Bhuppi Rana leads activities in Yamunanagar and Chandigarh, while Sukhpreet Budda manages operations in Punjab. Arshdeep Singh Gill, aka Arsh Dalla, and Lucky Patial coordinate international operations from Canada and the U.S., respectively.

Rise of Chaudhary and overseas alliances

Chaudhary’s ascent within the gang followed the 2016 death of leader Davinder Bambiha, with whom Chaudhary had previously allied. After Bambiha’s death, Amit Dagar, while imprisoned in Rohini, reached out to international associate Lucky Patial, fortifying their collaboration. The gang’s influence expanded as Chaudhary built connections with figures like Fateh Nagri during their imprisonment in Sangroor jail.

The Bambiha syndicate forged ties with other prominent gangs, including those led by Neeraj Bawana, Naveen Bali, and Sunil Rathi, aiming to counter the Lawrence Bishnoi-Kala Jatheri syndicate’s dominance across Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi. These alliances led to intensified extortion activities and a consolidation of power across regions.

Escalating violence and high-profile killings

The Bambiha gang has been linked to numerous violent crimes, with a record of high-profile murders across states. In March 2021, the syndicate executed a double murder, followed by the killing of youth leader Vicky Micky Kheda in August, an incident that catalyzed the assassination of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala.

The syndicate’s violent streak continued with the murder of rival gangster Jitender Gogi in September 2021 and the killing of kabaddi player Sundeep Ambia in March 2022. Authorities remain on high alert, anticipating further retaliatory violence from the Bishnoi faction as gang rivalries deepen.
