Mumbai News: In a chilling revelation, one of the accused in the October 12 murder of politician Baba Siddique has disclosed that Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was among the gang's intended targets. The assailant revealed that his name had been added to the shooter’s hit list, but his heavy security made it difficult for them to execute the plan.

Baba Siddique, 66, was tragically shot dead outside his son Zeeshan Siddique's office in Bandra East, Mumbai, suffering two fatal gunshot wounds to the chest. Despite being rushed to Lilavati Hospital, he was declared dead shortly after arrival.

Gang Behind the Attack: Ties to Lawrence Bishnoi

The murder of Siddique is believed to be linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which has been targeting Salman Khan for years. This ongoing vendetta is rooted in the actor’s involvement in a controversial blackbuck hunting incident, which angered the Bishnoi community, who revere the animal as sacred.

Salman Khan has been under constant threat from this gang, with multiple attempts on his life. Earlier this year, two gunmen fired at the actor’s Bandra residence, although no one was harmed in the attack. The shooters Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal were later arrested in Gujarat, also connected to the Lawrence Bishnoi network.

New Threats Against Salman Khan: Apology or ₹5 Crore Ransom Demanded

This threat follows a similar incident in October, when a vegetable seller from Jamshedpur was arrested for extorting ₹5 crore from the actor.
