New Delhi: A heated altercation between two groups erupted at Garden Galleria Mall in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, over allegations of harassment. The incident, which took place late Monday night in a bar located within the mall, quickly escalated when one woman claimed she was harassed and threatened. The confrontation led to a viral video in which one of the women tearfully described the events, capturing widespread attention online.
According to the viral video, a woman alleged that a member of the opposing group asked about her 'rate' inside the bar. When she protested, another woman from the group allegedly threatened her, claiming to be the daughter of a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP). The DSP’s daughter reportedly warned she would file a false case against the victim. The victim, who was at the bar with her husband and brother-in-law, recounted the indecent behavior to them, which led to an argument and subsequently a physical confrontation between the two groups.
The opposing party has a different version of events. They claim that the woman's husband allegedly grabbed the hand of a girl from their group while dancing. They stated that the altercation began when they objected to this behavior.
Upon receiving reports of the disturbance, police promptly arrived at the scene, taking both parties to the GIP outpost for questioning. Despite serious accusations from both sides, neither group filed a written complaint. Instead, they opted to resolve the issue through mutual agreement and left the police station, returning to their homes in Gaur City.
The video has sparked debate over public safety and accountability, with the woman questioning, "Is this Yogi Adityanath's justice? Is this a hi-tech city?" Her comments have fueled discussions about the incident's implications and the larger issues of safety and justice in public spaces.

in his X post, Akhilesh Yadav slammed UP government. He wrote, "This is the outcry of a daughter-in-law from Noida. In Uttar Pradesh, the safety of sisters, daughters, and daughters-in-law is at risk because police stations are preoccupied with meeting the 'financial targets' set by the government and administration.It is deeply concerning that a woman in the state feels compelled to make a heartfelt plea through a video to safeguard her dignity. The BJP has become synonymous with systemic corruption."
