The alleged chats of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan and ex-zonal director of Mumbai Narcotics Control Bureau Sameer Wankhede were submitted in the court in the latters defence. According to the chats, it is revealed that Shah Rukh Khan was begging Sameer Wankhede to go easy on his son when he (Aryan Khan) got arrested in the cruise drug case.As per sources, some of the revealed conversations that Shah Rukh Khan had with former NCB chairman Sameer Wankhede during the Aryan Khan narcotics case. The actor describes how the tragedy would break his son and destroy his family as they are communicating via text messaging. And also asked him to go easy on his son as “he is innocent.”There are several such letters that Khan wrote to Wankhede pleading with him to free his innocent son.Wankhede broke the behaviour laws during the cruise case back in 2021, according to government sources. “How can any investigating officer have such protracted conversations with the accuseds family,” they were reported as saying. Sameer Wankhede kept his conversations with Shah Rukh on WhatsApp a secret from his seniors while the Aryan Khan case probe was ongoing.When Shah Rukh asked Wankhede to be kind to Aryan, he said, “Of course dont worry.” Shah Rukh also promised Wankhede that Aryan will turn out to be a good man in the future. “I am going by what you said…I hope you feel my son has had the lesson you felt he should have had and henceforth he can build his life to be an upright hardworking young man towards a bright future. Thanks for all your kindness and care. ( sorry its a late-night message and I hope I am not disturbing you….but I was awake….naturally as a father ) Love srk. Sameer also said, ”Shahrukh he has been a good kid all the while and hope that he will for sure now be reformed so enough counselled by me Hard days will be over soon.”On the other side, Sameer Wankhede said that since he is a member of a marginalised community, then Deputy Director of the NCB Gyaneshwar Singh ridiculed and harassed him during an investigation.In connection with the alleged demand from actor Shah Rukh Khan for Rs 25 crore for not accusing his son Aryan Khan in the Cordelia cruise drug raid case, the CBI called Wankhede for questioning in Mumbai on Thursday. However, Wankhede did not show up in front of the agencys team.The Indian Revenue Service employee told PTI over the phone that he had protested to the Mumbai Police, the National Commission for Scheduled Castes, and the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) about the treatment that had been given to him.The CBI has mentioned Wankhede in an FIR along with four others in the cruise drug case.
