Atishi's Press Conference

During a press briefing, Atishi, a spokesperson, mentioned that Kejriwal, despite being in custody, prioritised the well-being of Delhi's residents. She stated that he took proactive steps to address potential water shortages during the upcoming summer season.

"Atishi highlighted Kejriwal's concern for Delhi's people by issuing directives related to water availability from his place of custody. His orders to the Chief Secretary and officials aim to ensure that the citizens face no inconvenience due to water shortages," she remarked.

Legal Challenge and High Court Response

In response to his arrest and custody, Kejriwal took legal action by approaching the Delhi High Court. He challenged both his arrest and the subsequent remand by the ED in the liquor policy scam case. However, the court did not grant an urgent hearing, scheduling the matter for Wednesday.
