Arvind Kejriwal's arrest is unprecedented as he becomes the first sitting Chief Minister to face such action by law enforcement agencies. The arrest is part of an ongoing investigation into an alleged liquor scam, implicating Kejriwal as the fourth AAP leader to be arrested in connection with the case, following Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, and Vijay Nair.
Currently, the Enforcement Directorate is conducting an interrogation of Chief Minister Kejriwal concerning the liquor policy case. The agency's swift action following the Delhi High Court's decision underscores the gravity of the situation, prompting AAP to seek urgent intervention from the Supreme Court to address Kejriwal's predicament.
Reacting to the arrest, Delhi Minister Imran Hussain condemned it as unfortunate and alleged it to be a part of a broader conspiracy aimed at undermining the AAP and Arvind Kejriwal. He expressed confidence in the people of Delhi, asserting their unwavering support for Kejriwal amidst the BJP's purported actions.
As developments unfold in this high-profile case, AAP remains steadfast in its defense of Arvind Kejriwal, vowing to continue the fight against what they perceive as politically motivated maneuvers. Stay tuned for further updates on this evolving situation.
