After being hit at the back of the scooter, she fell and died on the spot. The deceased and her daughter-in-law Priyanka Solanki (38) were going to market on their scooter when they met with the accident. Priyanka who suffered minor injuries on her hands and legs, was immediately rushed to a private hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the police have arrested the truck driver Ashok Mahato (37) on the charges of causing death due to negligence and started the probe into the case.Another similar incident came to light on Wednesday, when a speeding car rammed into a woman, throwing her up in the air. However, she and her family did not file any complaint against the driver, as she did not suffer major injuries. Later, the driver was released by Hinjewadi police.This is not the first time that such a road rage incident has come to light. One of the controversial Pune Porsche car crashes is still being investigated, in which a 17-year-old boy mowed down two Pune engineers.
