According to district police, the investigation has revealed that the call the victim received before leaving home was from a person she knew well, based on the statements recorded in the case.It is important to note that this development has come amid ongoing protests across the state over the brutal death of a junior doctor at a government hospital in Kolkata on August 12. In connection with that case, Kolkata Police have apprehended a suspect.
