When Nazia came to know about their relationship, she and her family tied their hands and then paraded them on the streets of the districts Lepakshi village.Hussain fled while they were tied and taken to a police station in an auto-rickshaw.Briefing about the incident, Hindupur sub-divisional police officer P Kanjakshan told news agency PTI, “Hussain is in an alleged illegal relationship with Shabana and because of this reason, Hussains wife went to the place where Shabana was residing and tonsured both of them and paraded them in the town.”A video of the two being tonsured was filmed by Nazias family members and later it was all over the internet.Case filed against Nazia, her familyMeanwhile, the police were in the process of lodging a zero FIR against Nazia and her family under sections of IPC (Indian Penal Code), such as 506 (criminal intimidation), 355 (assault or using force to dishonour a person), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) and others.As per the police, the woman, Shabana got separated from her husband two years ago.
