The terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag on Wednesday has taken lives of three Indian army personnels which includes Colonel Manpreet Singh, Major Ashish Dhonchak and DAP Humayun Muzammil Butt were martyred in a fierce encounter between the Indian Army and terrorists in Kokarnag, Anantnag.

There is an atmosphere of anger in the entire country after the ambush, notably, one soldier is still missing and the search operation is still on in the area. Meanwhile, the statement of the neighbouring country Pakistan, which is said to be a haven for terrorists, has come to light.

According to the information, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that our people have seen the report of Anantnag attack in Jammu and Kashmir. Baloch while defending Pakistan said that “India has a habit of dragging Pakistan into its domestic politics. We will not be surprised if India does same again in future.”

Encounter with terrorists

The news has come as a wave of mourning in the entire country after the death of the soldiers martyred in the terrorist attack in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir. Everyone in the country has been demanding strict action against Pakistan. Colonel Singh, Commanding Officer of 19 Rashtriya Rifles, Major Dhonak, Deputy Superintendent of Police Humayun Bhatt and a soldier – were killed in an encounter with terrorists on Wednesday in the Gadole forests of Kokernag in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to sources, Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists was involved in the attacks.
