A controversial statement by BJP leader and animal activist Maneka Gandhi has garnered attention on social media, claiming that Amul works as a mediator for the slaughtering of cows. During one of her interviews with a media person, Gandhi alleged that Amul was the first company to open a slaughterhouse for cows in Goa as they were not permitted to do so in Gujarat.
