Attempts of molestation

In March of this year, Amir allegedly made moves toward the girl near Max Pro gym, trying to kiss her forcefully and molest her. The girl managed to push him away and escaped. Recently, on 24th June, he again tried to molest her in a garden near Seven Square by forcefully kissing her. She immediately called her mother for help.

Legal action against accused

The victim and her mother approached the police station and filed a complaint, raising concerns about safety in the Mira Road and Bhayander areas. Recent incidents have sparked community discussions about demographic shifts and communal tensions in the region. Members of Sakal Hindu Samaj have voiced concerns over demographic changes in Mira Road, attributing issues to an influx of migrants and allegations of harassment against Hindu residents. Activists stress the importance of police taking such cases seriously and addressing underlying social tensions.
