Conspiracy to kill Arvind Kejriwal: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has claimed a deep conspiracy to target its leader Arvind Kejriwal after an alleged attack during his padyatra campaign in West Delhis Vikaspuri. Following the incident, AAP leaders have accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of orchestrating the attack, warning that the party will be held accountable should any harm befall Kejriwal.BJP has become a threat to Kejriwals lifeDuring a press briefing on Saturday, AAPs Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh stated that Kejriwal was attacked by what he termed BJP goons while he was out campaigning. Singh said, The polices passive response in the incident points to a larger conspiracy. The BJP has become a threat to Kejriwals life.Despite the alleged attack, Singh confirmed that Kejriwal remains determined to continue his campaign, although he expressed concern over the polices lack of intervention. Singh alleged that members of the BJPs youth wing were responsible for the incident. If the police had been impartial, this wouldnt have happened, he asserted. When asked why AAP had not filed an official complaint, Singh responded that the police should have initiated an investigation on their own. The police can take cognizance of this and investigate, he added, noting that AAP is currently seeking legal guidance on the matter.BJPs responseIn response, BJP leaders dismissed the allegations, suggesting that Kejriwal was confronted by locals who were frustrated over issues with the water supply in their area.In a defiant response, Singh vowed that Kejriwal will neither stop nor bow down. Issuing a warning, he stated, If any harm comes to Kejriwal, the BJP will bear full responsibility. Even if he suffers a minor injury, the people of Delhi will retaliate.
