PM Modi's Security : An all-women police security has been deployed for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's programme in Gujarat's Navsari district on Saturday on International Women's Day. Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi announced that this is the first time in India's history that the security of a prime minister's programme will be managed only by women police personnel.  From the arrival of the Prime Minister at the helipad in Vansi Borsi village to the conclusion of the programme, every aspect of security will be managed only by women police officers.

Only women security personnel deployed for PM Modi's security 

The security deployment will involve police personnel of all ranks, from Indian Police Service (IPS) officers to constables. In all, over 2,100 constables, 187 sub-inspectors, 61 police inspectors, 16 deputy superintendents of police, five superintendents of police, one inspector general of police and one additional director general of police will be on duty. Senior IPS officers and Home Secretary Nipun Torawane will monitor the security arrangements and ensure seamless implementation of the initiative.

Powerful Message to the world on Women's Day
Prime Minister Modi is currently on a two-day visit to Gujarat and the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli. As part of his programme, he will address the 'Lakhpati Didi Sammelan' at Vansi Borsi village on Saturday. Emphasising the importance of this initiative, Sanghvi said that it will give a powerful message to the world on Women's Day and will showcase the important role of women in ensuring the security of Gujarat.
