National News: In the all party meeting called on the Pahalgam terror attack in New Delhi on Thursday, a two -minute silence was paid tribute to the martyrs. In this attack, innocent people died, who shook the whole country. The meeting was chaired by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, which lasted for about two hours. During this, Home Minister Amit Shah shared information about the attack and told about the action of the government.
After the meeting, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that all parties have strongly condemned the incident. Rahul Gandhi also clarified that the Congress will support whatever steps the government will take against terror. TMC leader Sudeep Bandyopadhyay raised the security lapse and said that all parties are with the government against terrorism.
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju said that the Defense Minister gave information about the attack in Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS). The government has indicated that more tough steps will be taken now. Earlier, strict decisions were taken on Pakistan in the CCS meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday - it was decided to stop the Indus Water Treaty of 1960, close the attic check post and cancel the visa of Pakistani citizens.
AAP MP Sanjay Singh raised the question that the attack was opened on April 22, while on April 20, the place was opened without the information of security agencies. He demanded that the responsibility of this lapse should be fixed and strict retaliation should be taken on Pakistan.

The Pahalgam attack has once again forced the country to think on the security system. All -party unity and the government's tough stance indicate that now Pakistan will have to pay the price of support of terrorism.
