Alert! Rates of LPG gas cylinder hiked by Rs 25 from March 1, check latest prices in your city here

Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) on Friday announced price changes for commercial LPG gas cylinders. Now, the price of 19 KG commercial LPG gas cylinders has been hiked by RS 25.50 and the new rates are effective from March 1, 2024.

Now, after the price revisions the retail sales price of a 19 KG commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi will now be Rs 1,795.00. However, the prices of domestic LPG cylinders will remain unchanged. 

New price rates

The revised rate of LPG cylinders in Delhi will be 1,750.00 from March 1, 2024. In Kolkata, the price will stand at 1911.00 and in Mumbai, the revised price of LPG cylinders will be 1749.00. The price of 19 KG gas cylinder in Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Indore, Amritsar are at Rs 1,816, Rs 1,875, Rs 1,901, Rs 1,895 respectively. 

Rate changed for second time this year

This is the second time that the state-run firms have increased the cost of commercial gas cylinders. On February 1, 2024, the rates of a 19-Kg gas cylinder were up by Rs 14. 
 

Monthly revisions of price

It is important to note that montly revisions for both commercial and domestic LPG cylinders occur on the first day of each month. However, the price rates vary from state to state due to local taxes.
