Virsa Singh Valtoha expelled from Akali Dal: In a significant move, the Jathedar of Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Raghbir Singh Ji, has directed Balwinder Singh Bhunder, the working president of the Shiromani Akali Dal, to expel senior leader Virsa Singh Valtoha from the party for a period of 10 years. This decision comes after Valtoha leveled serious allegations against the Jathedar, accusing him of operating under the influence of the BJP and RSS.

Vatoha raised serious concerns

Valtoha's accusations created a ripple of controversy within the Akali Dal, a party that has long been associated with Sikh politics and religious leadership. His remarks questioned the impartiality of Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh Ji, claiming that his decisions were swayed by political forces outside the Sikh community.

In response to these claims, Giani Raghbir Singh Ji issued a firm directive for Valtoha’s removal, citing the need to uphold the integrity of the Akal Takht, the highest temporal authority for Sikhs. This expulsion marks a strong stance against internal dissent and accusations within the party, aiming to maintain unity and respect for religious leadership.

The expulsion of Valtoha for a decade is a significant disciplinary action and sends a clear message regarding the consequences of questioning the Akal Takht's authority or its leadership.
