Ahead of the consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Ayodhya airport, which is renamed after Maharishi Valmiki and will be called Maharishi Valmiki International Airport Ayodhyadham, on December 30. Along with the airport, PM Modi will also hold a roadshow and address a public meeting on the same day as part of the countdown to the grand consecration ceremony on January 22.According to the information, the first phase of the airport would be built at the cost of approximate Rs 1,450 crore.Ayodhya will get projects worth Rs 15,700 croreOn December 30, PM Modi will open the railway station at 11.15 am and flag off new Amrit Bharat and Vande Bharat trains, according to a statement from the Prime Minister Office (PMO). In addition, he plans to contribute multiple other railway projects to the country.The Prime Minister will open the recently constructed Ayodhya Airport and, at approximately 1 pm, take part in a public event where he will declare open, pay tribute to the country, and lay the cornerstone for several development projects in the state valued at over Rs 15,700 crore.These include projects worth about Rs 11,100 crore for the development of Ayodhya and its surrounding areas and projects worth about Rs 4600 crore related to other projects across Uttar Pradesh, with a vision is to develop modern, world-class infrastructure in Ayodhya, improve connectivity and revamp its civic facilities while also conforming to the rich history and heritage of the city.Inauguration of the trainsAccording to the official information, the Prime Minister will flag off six new Vande Bharat trains, which includes two new Amrit Bharat trains, viz Darbhanga-Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal Amrit Bharat Express and Malda Town-Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminus (Bengaluru) Amrit Bharat Express.
