AI startup-CEO kills her 4-year-old son in Goa, caught while fleeing

The accused allegedly killed her young son in an apartment in north Goa's Candolim. However, the cause of killing is yet to be ascertained.

A shocking incident has been surfaced from Bengaluru, where, a 39-year-old AI start-up founder allegedly murdered her four-year-old son in Goa and travelled back to Karnataka with his body in the car, before she was caught.

The accused has been identified as Suchana Seth, who co-founded artificial intelligence start-up Mindful AI Lab. According to the sources, she has been arrested in Karnataka's Chitradurga on Monday with her son's body in a bag. She allegedly killed her young son in an apartment in north Goa's Candolim. However, the cause of killing is yet to be ascertained.

The officials informed that Seth checked into the Sol Banyan Grande in North Goa's Candolim with her son on Saturday. She checked out of the room alone on Monday and asked the hotel staff to book her a taxi to Bengaluru. She insisted the staff for booking a taxi despite being advised to take a flight.

The incident came into light when the hotel staff noticed that child is not accompanying her. The housekeeping staff also noticed blood stains in her apartment, soon after she left. After which, they informed the police, who called the taxi driver and asked to speak to Seth. When she was asked about her son, she claimed he was with a friend and gave an address, which turned out to be fake.

The driver was then called by the police once more. In an attempt to ensure Seth was not understanding, the police spoke in Konkani and instructed the driver to take the cab to the closest police station in Chitradurga.

The body of Seth's kid was discovered inside the bag she was travelling with when the police detained her at the station.

Meanwhile, the investigation in the case is still on.
