New Delhi: After Puja Khedkar's controversy, another person Praful Desai has come to light who is a 2019 batch IAS officer with the rank of 532 and have earned great respect for his achievements. Praful was an EWS (Economically Weaker Section) candidate and faced the challenge of being orthopedically handicapped. Despite his condition, he worked tirelessly and overcame numerous obstacles to reach where he was.
Recently, a social media handle on X shared photos of Praful cycling, playing tennis and rafting. The post claimed that Praful had completely recovered from his disabilities after getting selected for the IAS. This information is rapidly circulating on social media and many users were thrashing the IAS in focus.

However, a response on the statement from the IAS officer in question is still awaited.
A user of X platform namely, Suman Vashishth wrote in Hindi, how many fake people have been hired, even UPSC is not trustworthy. Another user named ShivBHU wrote in Hindi, Sir has taken special treatment and has become fully fit.. And even if there was something, it has become old!! It has been put away in the bag! He himself must have forgotten what he had applied and what not! UPSC is possible.
Another issue has also surfaced involving former IAS officer Abhishek Singh from the 2011 batch. Abhishek Singh had secured his position under the disabled category and is now under scrutiny after his dance and exercise videos from the gym also surfaced on social media. He was removed from the responsiblity of General Observer by the Election Commission but were removed for showing off by uploading photos on Instagram.
2010 batch IAS Abhishek Singh misused PwD quota by claiming that he has Locomotor Disability (disability of bones, joints or muscles due to which movement of the limbs becomes difficult).

But, it can be clearly seen that he’s not suffering from any such disability. pic.twitter.com/6OfKorsXSs
