New Delhi: Following the tragic deaths of three civil services aspirants in a water-logged Delhi coaching center, the Madhya Pradesh government has instructed local authorities to survey coaching classes located in building basements, ensuring that necessary safety precautions are implemented to prevent similar incidents on Monday. 13 coaching institutes sealed, 4 temporarily closed in IndoreAfter the survey, on Wednesday, at least 13 coaching institutes, including libraries, were sealed for operating in basements in the Indore district.Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Ghanshyam Dhangar said that in the wake of Delhis incident, the Indore collector had been instructed to inspect coaching centres in the city and to seal coaching centres or libraries being operated in basements.Following the directions given by the government, on Tuesday, a joint team of the state revenue department, municipal corporation and police took action against 13 such coaching institutes, including libraries that were operated in the basement in the Bhawarkua area. We sealed those institutes in view of safety, Dhangar said.Additionally, four coaching centers housed in makeshift plywood structures were temporarily closed. Six investigation teams were formed to inspect the registration, security measures and emergency arrangements of these coaching centers. The teams have been instructed to submit their reports within two weeks, aiming to prevent similar incidents in the future. Approximately 300 coaching centers will undergo scrutiny as part of this initiative.
