A significant arrest has been made in Greater Noida concerning a drug operation estimated at 150 crore rupees. Alongside the main suspect, four foreign nationals have also faced arrest and subsequent detention. The primary suspect was allegedly involved in the production of drugs valued at 100 crores and related materials amounting to 50 crores within the confines of this illicit factory. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the operation was conducted under the guise of agreements using the names of local individuals, who were students enrolled in a university in Greater Noida.Arrests and SeizuresThe arrest came to light after diligent efforts by law enforcement authorities. DCP Saad Miyan Khan disclosed that a coordinated effort involving Gautam Buddha University officials, Eco-Tech 1 police stations Anuj Kumar, Dadri police stations Sujit Upadhyay, and the SWAT team led by Yatendra Singh resulted in apprehending Onyekachi Frank and Emmanuel near the university premises. Authorities confiscated a significant quantity of MDMA from their possession, notably found concealed within a vehicle. During questioning, the suspects admitted to operating a drug manufacturing facility located in Omicron-1.Drug Recovery and Further InvestigationsA substantial cache of drugs amounting to 26,760 grams was recovered during the raid on the illicit drug production site. Following initial interrogations, law enforcement proceeded to search and raid the residence linked to the suspects, leading to the apprehension of Ifenayi Jenabo and Dee. Additional quantities of MDMA were seized from this location. Moreover, authorities confiscated various illegal materials used in drug production, alongside equipment, raw substances, chemicals, and two vehicles connected to the illegal operation.Rent Agreement RevelationsDuring the ongoing investigation, it was discovered that several individuals from Nigeria had illegally entered India and were residing there. These individuals were reportedly involved in the distribution of drugs produced at the clandestine facility to students across different educational institutions in the region. The suspect possessed a rental agreement that included the names of the implicated individuals. Besides the main suspects, two female individuals and one woman, originally from Africa, have also been implicated in the investigation and are currently being questioned by authorities.
