Administrative Reshuffle in UP: 16 IAS, 11 IPS Reassigned, Ayodhya Leads 6 DM Changes

The Uttar Pradesh government transferred 16 IAS officers on Tuesday. After which orders were issued for the transfer of 11 IPS officers. The Yogi government has changed the DMs of six districts including Ayodhya and Amethi. The police commissioners of Agra and Ghaziabad have also been changed. The police captains of Baghpat and Ghaziabad have been transferred.

New DM of Ayodhya and Amethi
IAS officer Nikhil Tikaram Funde posted in Chandauli has been appointed as the new District Magistrate of Ayodhya. DM of Ayodhya Chandra Vijay Singh has been given the responsibility of Special Secretary Infrastructure and Industrial Development Department. Special Secretary to Chief Minister and Additional Director State Agricultural Production Market Council Ashutosh Mohan Agnihotri has been appointed as the District Magistrate of Kannauj. Sanjay Chauhan has been appointed as DM Amethi, Avnish Kumar Rai as DM Badaun, Shubhrant Kumar Shukla as District Magistrate of Etawah.

Badaun's DM Nidhi Srivastava has been appointed as Special Secretary, Higher Education. Prayagraj's Municipal Commissioner Chandra Mohan Garg has been made the District Magistrate of Chandauli. Seelam Sai Teja has been appointed as Municipal Commissioner Prayagraj, Mrinali Avinash Joshi as CDO Jaunpur, Nisha as Mission Director National Ayush Mission, Shipu Giri as Municipal Commissioner Saharanpur, Mahendra Verma as Secretary RERA, Sandeep Bhagiya as Additional Commissioner State Tax, Kandarkar Kamalkishore Deshbhushan as CDO Muzaffarnagar and IAS officer Rajkumar who is on waitlist has been appointed as Special Secretary Energy.

9 IAS were transferred on Monday
It is known that the Uttar Pradesh government transferred nine IAS officers on Monday night. Among them, PN Singh was removed from the post of Sugarcane Commissioner and put on waiting list. B. Chandrakala was removed from the post of Secretary of Panchayati Raj Department. Amit Kumar Singh has been made Director Panchayati Raj. State Nodal Officer of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana, Hiralal has been made Commissioner and Registrar of Cooperative Societies. Secretary RERA Pramod Kumar Upadhyay has been sent to the post of Commissioner Sugarcane and Sugar. Secretary of Irrigation Department Naveen Kumar GS has been given additional charge of State Nodal Officer of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana.
