Crime News: In a shocking and gruesome murder case, Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa has become the focal point of a horrific crime that has left the community in disbelief. The victim, 33-year-old Renukaswamy, suffered severe torture before his death, as revealed by a chilling autopsy report. The autopsy of Renukaswamy showed that he died from shock and hemorrhage due to multiple blunt injuries. The report also revealed that he was brutally kicked, which ruptured his testicle, and was subjected to electric shocks. The forensic analysis uncovered 15 severe injuries across his body, including his hands, feet, back, and chest, leading to blood clots.Grisly crime sceneRenukaswamys body, found near a flyover in Bengaluru on June 9, bore the marks of extreme violence. He had been beaten with wooden sticks and a belt. Disturbingly, the post-mortem also revealed that parts of his face and body had been eaten by dogs after his death.The investigation has led to the arrest of 17 people, including Darshan and his former co-star, Pavithra Gowda. According to police reports, Renukaswamy had sent offensive messages to Gowda on social media, which infuriated Darshan. A member of Darshans fan club, Raghavendra R, allegedly lured Renukaswamy to a secluded shed, promising a meeting with the actor. It was there that Renukaswamy was reportedly tortured and killed.What were tools used for torture Police have recovered various objects used in the torture, including wooden logs, a leather belt, and a rope. A car used in the kidnapping was also seized from a house in Ayyanahalli village, Chitradurga district.Motive behind murderRenukaswamy, an auto driver from Bengaluru, was allegedly kidnapped and murdered on Darshans orders. The actor was reportedly enraged after Renukaswamy sent obscene messages to Pavithra Gowda, whom he blamed for his strained relationship with his wife. To exact revenge, Darshan allegedly hired his fan club members, paying them to carry out the kidnapping and murder.
