New Delhi: Late in the night on June 22, tragedy struck on the Delhi-Gurugram Expressway as a speeding BMW collided with an auto near the 17/18 police station area of Gurugram. The collision caused the auto to overturn, which resulted in the death of a young man. Auto driver and a young woman also received critical injuries.

Who is Gurusevak Singh?

Gurusevak Singh, a 22-year-old resident originally from Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, had relocated with his family to U Block, DLF Phase 3, Gurugram. He worked in a private company and was on his way to Airtel Company with his colleague Neetu Kumari when tragedy struck.

Sister's plea for justice

Nearly two weeks after the incident, justice remains elusive for Gurusevak's family. His grieving sister, in an emotional interview with 'People Of India', recounted their loss and demanded justice for her beloved brother. "I lost my 22-year-old brother in this accident," she said.

Sister shares ordeal

Recalling the tragic night, she described that Gurusevak was returning from work when a speeding BMW collided with their auto. "He fell on the road, critically injured and bleeding profusely," she recounted. Passersby rushed him to a nearby hospital, where the family received a heartbreaking call around 5 AM the next day. Despite efforts, Gurusevak succumbed to his injuries the following day.

Who is accountable?

Gurusevak's sister lamented the lack of a proper investigation. "No alcohol test has been conducted on the driver, and no charges have been filed," she stated. The accused remains at large, adding to their family's anguish. Pleading to fight for justice relentlessly, she said, "With Gurusevak's untimely death, we have lost everything."
