The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) unveiled its fourth list of candidates for the upcoming assembly elections on Sunday, featuring 38 new names. With this announcement, the party has now declared its candidates for all 70 assembly seats in Delhi.

Prominent candidates in the latest list

Among the notable candidates is party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, who will be contesting from New Delhi. Other significant candidates include Ramesh Pahalwan, who will represent Kasturba Nagar, and Pooja Baliyan, who will run from Uttam Nagar. Pooja is contesting in place of her husband, Naresh Baliyan, the incumbent MLA for the seat.

Kejriwal's strong words for BJP

Kejriwal, addressing the announcement on social media platform X, expressed confidence in AAP's preparations and strategy for the elections. "Today, Aam Aadmi Party announced its candidates on all 70 seats. The party is contesting the elections with full confidence and full preparation," he stated.

The Delhi CM did not hold back in criticizing the BJP, claiming they had "no CM face, no team, no planning, and no vision for Delhi." He added that the BJP's only goal seemed to be "Remove Kejriwal" and mocked their record over the past five years, suggesting their main achievement was "Kejriwal ko khub gaali di."

Previous candidate announcements

Earlier, AAP released three lists of candidates. In the third list, Tarun Yadav was named as the candidate for the Najafgarh Assembly seat, replacing Kailash Gehlot, who defected to the BJP. In the second list, 20 names were announced, including key figures such as Manish Sisodia, Dinesh Bhardwaj, and Surender Pal Singh Bittu.
