AAP MLA shot in Punjab (Facebook/(Jagdeep Kamboj Goldy))
AAP leader shot in Punjab: In a shocking incident, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Mandeep Singh Brar was shot outside a government office in Punjab's Fazilka district. Brar, who is currently in critical condition, was rushed to the hospital immediately after the shooting, according to media reports.
The shooting is being blamed on Vardev Singh Mann, a leader from the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD). AAP’s Jalalabad MLA, Jagdeep Kamboj Goldy, has accused Mann of pulling the trigger during a confrontation.
The incident reportedly occurred outside the Block Development and Panchayat Officer's (BDPO) office, where Mann had visited to settle a file related to a local school. According to reports, the request was denied by the government officials, leading to Mann's frustration.
A heated argument ensued outside the office between Mann and Brar, after which Mann allegedly fired a gun at the AAP leader. The police are currently investigating the incident, and tensions have risen between the AAP and SAD factions in the region.

The police are yet to make an official statement on the status of the investigation, but the incident has already sparked a political storm, with AAP leaders calling for swift action against the accused.
