The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday compared Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal‘s lectures on voting to the dialogue in Shahrukh Khan‘s most recent film ‘Jawan,’ saying “What SRK has said, Kejriwal has been repeating for years”.
The party shared some snippets of the Delhi chief minister’s speech on X, formerly known as Twitter, in which he can be heard saying, “Some ask for votes based on religion, some ask for it based on caste…I have never seen any party say, “Give me votes so I can build hospitals and schools for you”. I will provide a good education to you…I will make sure you have free medical treatments.”
जो @ArvindKejriwal जी सालों से कहते आ रहे है, वो बात आज #Jawan फिल्म में SRK ने भी कह डाली

Jawan का Dialogue:
"डर, पैसा, जात-पात, धर्म, सम्प्रदाय के लिए वोट देने की बजाय जो आपसे Vote मांगने आये, आप उससे सवाल पूछें
– पूछो उससे कि मेरे लिए अगले 5 साल में क्या करोगे?
– अगर… pic.twitter.com/ttufzwR1ac
In the meantime, as stated by AAP, SRK remarked in the film, “Instead of voting for fear, money, caste, religion, community, ask questions to those who came to ask for your vote. Ask him what will you do for me in the next 5 years? If someone in the family falls ill, what will you do for his treatment? What will you do to get me a job? What will you do to take the country forward?”
In all his talks, the AAP leader has pushed for free medical care, improved school facilities, and free education. Kejriwal recently made six promises during his election campaign in Rajasthan for the forthcoming state assembly elections, including free healthcare and energy up to 300 units per month.
