Sources cited by the Times of India reveal a comprehensive security arrangement, including the deployment of five companies of paramilitary personnel, NSG commandos, drones, and snipers. With dignitaries from SAARC nations invited, the national capital is on high alert.'

Top leaders from different countries

Officials have outlined designated routes for dignitaries to traverse from their accommodations to the venue and back. Anticipated attendees include top leaders from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Bhutan, Nepal, Mauritius, and Seychelles. Security measures along these routes will mirror those employed during last year’s G20 summit.

Guests expected to join

Meanwhile, the newly elected MPs of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance are slated to convene on Friday to formally elect Narendra Modi as their leader. The extensive guest list for Modi's oath-taking ceremony encompasses political figures from both the ruling coalition and the opposition, alongside representatives from the film and sports industries, as well as prominent industrialists and businessmen.
Invitations have reportedly been extended to Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', Bhutan's counterpart Tshering Tobgay, and Mauritius PM Pravind Jugnauth.
