On Monday, the Punjab Police’s Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) successfully apprehended four significant shooters associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang, according to police reports.

The individuals involved in the incident have been identified as Mehfooz, also known as Vishal Khan, and Manjeet Singh, both hailing from Dera Bassi, as well as Ankit and Goldy from Panchkula in Haryana. During their arrest, the police seized six pistols and 26 cartridges from their possession.

According to Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav, all the accused individuals have a history of criminal activities and are involved in serious offences such as attempted murder, car-jacking, extortion, and violations of the Arms Act. These criminal cases have been registered against them in both Punjab and Haryana.

“In a significant development, the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) successfully apprehended four shooters associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The operation resulted in the seizure of six pistols and 26 live cartridges from the arrested individuals,” tweeted Yadav.

“The arrested shooters were assigned the mission to cause harm to their adversaries from rival gangs. Further disclosures are anticipated as the investigation progresses,” stated Yadav. He also confirmed that an FIR has been lodged against the accused.
