A startling video from Jhansi district has surfaced, showing a small auto-rickshaw overloaded with 19 passengers. The incident came to light when the police stopped the vehicle for inspection, only to be left in utter disbelief as they counted the number of people crammed inside.

The incident reportedly took place on Saturday night in the Baruasagar police station area, where officials were conducting routine vehicle checks. During the inspection, they noticed a four-seater auto speeding down the highway. Suspecting a violation, the police signaled the driver to pull over. What they discovered upon stopping the vehicle left them astounded.

19 people squeezed inside the auto

As the officers began instructing passengers to step out one by one, the count kept increasing. By the time the last person exited, the total number of passengers, including the driver, reached a shocking 19. The sheer overcrowding not only defied traffic regulations but also posed a severe safety risk.

Driver penalized for violating traffic rules

Following the discovery, the police seized the auto-rickshaw and registered a case against the driver for violating traffic regulations. Additionally, the authorities issued a stern warning, cautioning him against repeating such reckless behavior in the future.

Commenting on the incident, Circle Officer Tahrauli stated, "Such irresponsible actions that endanger passengers' lives will not be tolerated. We urge the public to abide by traffic laws and ensure safe travel."
