The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has held more than 15,000 blots of LSD, busting a drug trafficking network that used cryptocurrency and was running via the ‘dark web’. Officials have arrested six people in connection with this case. Some of them are students, as informed by the NCB Officials in a press conference.

LSD is common name for lysergic acid diethylamide – a synthetic chemical-based hallucinogenic drug.

As per the NCB official, a worker associated with this drug cartel would make an attempt to reach out on Instagram asking if you wanted drugs. If anyone showed interest, the talk would soon shift to the private messaging app ‘Wicker Me’. The payment would then be made through cryptocurrency. The drugs would then be imported from Poland or Netherlands.

The mastermind of this syndicate has been arrested from Jaipur. The cartel used to advertise on the dark net and used to reach out to Instagram for potential buyers.
