Assembly Polls: In a surprising disclosure, Jan Suraj convenor Prashant Kishor announced that he charges over Rs 100 crore to advise political leaders or parties as an election strategist. Speaking to a crowd in Belaganj on October 31 during his campaign for the Bihar by-elections, Kishor addressed questions about his campaign funding, especially from the Muslim community.

“Many ask me where I get the funds for my campaigns. Ten state governments are currently running on my strategies,” Kishor stated. He continued, “If I advise on just one election, I charge Rs 100 crore or more. That alone funds my campaign for the next two years. Do you think I can’t afford tents and canopies for my rallies?”
