Another incident of gold smuggling has been reported in Hyderabad. Customs foiled the plan in a swift interception, the release said, adding that both the passenger and the Airport staffer were placed under arrest.Also, in another case, 527 grams of smuggled gold was seized from a passenger who had allegedly concealed the yellow metal in the rectum in the form of two capsules, the customs said.Both of them were placed under arrest. In the second case, 527 gms of smuggled gold, valued at Rs. 31.8 lakhs was recovered from a passenger who had arrived at Hyderabad from Jeddah.
