The Home Minister Amit Shah lashed out at Bihar's chief minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday. The veteran BJP leader reminded Nitish that the opposition bloc did not name him the convenor of the ‘INDIA’ alliance.
Addressing a rally in Bihar's Muzaffarpur, Amit Shah said, "These are people running family shops, one wants to become the Prime Minister and the other wants to make his son the Chief Minister. I want to tell both of you that Nitish Kumar forget about the PM post that the INDI alliance did not make you the convener. You don't belong anywhere".
The Union minister continued attacking Bihar's chief minister, "There are two types of 'JAM'. For BJP, JAM - Jan Dhan account, Aadhaar, and Mobile. For the Bihar government, JAM - 'Jativad' and 'Parivarvad', 'Apradh', and Minority appeasement".
Notably, the Bihar government released the caste-based survey data in October, which showed that the Other backward classes (OBCs) population is 63 percent of the state's total population. While the Extremely backward classes (EBCs) formed the largest social segment.
Furthermore, he added, "The INDI alliance has only one agenda to oppose PM Modi. When they were in power they did corruption amounting to ₹12 Lakh crore".
Last year, Nitish Kumar broke up its alliance partner BJP for the second time in nine years. He reunited with former foe Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) to continue as the Chief Minister of the state.
