Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Janasena Party leader Pawan Kalyan has blamed Tamil Nadu politicians for opposing Hindi while simultaneously using Hindi dub to achieve financial gains. He supported and backed centre and questioned the contradiction, emphasizing the significance of verbal inclusivity in India.

Kalyan's reflections follow the ongoing language disagreement between Tamil Nadu’s DMK- led government and the Centre over the three- language policy introduced in the National Education Policy( NEP). While addressing his party’s 11th Foundation Day, the actor- turned- politician stressed that India needs to embrace multiple languages, including Tamil, rather than limiting itself to just two.

Condemning the DMK’s opposition to Hindi, Kalyan remarked," Why condemn Sanskrit? Why reject Hindi while benefiting from Bollywood cult? This double standard needs to be addressed." He also supported for conversations on the forthcoming delimitation process and reaffirmed his support for Sanatan Dharma, citing his party’s perseverance through political challenges.

BJP supports Kalyan, Prakash Raj disagrees

Kalyan’s reflections entered appreciation from the BJP, with former Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar attacking the DMK on social media, criminating them of using divisive politics to distract from governance failures. BJP prophet Rachna Reddy also backed Kalyan, questioning Tamil Nadu’s disinclination to accept Hindi despite drinking languages like French and German in its education system.

still, actor- politician Prakash Raj opposed Kalyan’s station, arguing that rejecting Hindi duty is n't about detest but about guarding one’s mama lingo with pride.

DMK’s symbolic resistance against NEP

Tamil Nadu’s ruling DMK, led by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, has taken a establishment stand against the National Education Policy. In an unknown move, the state government replaced the sanctioned Indian rupee symbol( ₹) with the Tamil letter 'Ru' in its 2025- 26 Budget, a move perceived as a bold assertion of indigenous identity.
