Parliament Security Breach case: In a dramatic turn of events, the accused individuals involved in the security breach at the Parliament, where colored smoke was released, have come forward with grave allegations against the Delhi Police Special Cell. The six accused, including Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan D, have claimed that they were subjected to torture and undue pressure to confess to crimes and implicate political parties.

Parliament Breach Incident Recap

The security lapse incident unfolded on December 13, 2023, when six individuals breached Parliament security. Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan D managed to enter the Lok Sabha area, releasing yellow smoke and causing chaos. Neelam Azad and Amol Shinde, their associates, mirrored the act outside the Parliament. The accused were promptly apprehended.

Accusations Against Delhi Police Special Cell

During the recent court hearing at Patiala House Court, five of the accused (excluding Neelam Azam) filed an application accusing the Delhi Police Special Cell of subjecting them to inhuman atrocities. The accused claim they were coerced into revealing their current and previous mobile numbers, taken to telecom company offices to issue SIMs for old numbers and current SIM card details. Allegedly, this process involved providing biometric data and passwords for online accounts and phones.

The court has summoned a response from the Special Cell of Delhi Police and scheduled the next hearing for February 17. Until recently, all six accused were in the custody of the Delhi Police Special Cell before being transferred to judicial custody.

Judicial Custody Extended

Post the court hearing, Additional Sessions Judge Hardeep Kaur extended the judicial custody of all six accused until March 1. The accused had been in the custody of the Delhi Police Special Cell before being moved to judicial custody.

Unanswered Questions: BJP MP Pratap Simha's Involvement

A mysterious aspect of the case revolves around BJP MP Pratap Simha, who issued passes to Sagar Sharma and D Manoranjan. The police have not disclosed any information about Pratap Simha in court, leaving his role in the incident shrouded in secrecy. Pratap Simha recently faced opposition during a visit to a village in Karnataka.

As the case unfolds, these serious accusations against the Delhi Police Special Cell add complexity to an already intriguing incident that shook the Parliament's security on that fateful day in December.
