Due to some political misunderstandings, the then political leadership had given a special status to Jammu and Kashmir through Article 370.Expressing optimism for continued development in the region, Kumar said that he is hopeful that the ongoing development in Jammu and Kashmir will continue uninterrupted.The Supreme Courts unanimous decision on Monday declared Article 370 a temporary provision intended solely to facilitate the merger of Jammu and Kashmir with the rest of India.
