Faiyazuddin Warsi, Telangana State President, supports the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and states that CAA is in the national interest. He emphasised, "Despite the assertions by the government agencies that no Indian, including Muslims, is going to be stripped of his citizenship as a result of this Act, the opponents are in imaginary fear, continually fuelled by some vested interests who are in mission mode to give the impression that all is not well in India.

Pakistan, which was rebuffed by the world powers in its attempt to highlight the abrogation of Article 370, the special status for Jammu and Kashmir, has been desperately trying to encash the Citizenship Amendment Act by giving it a Hindu-Muslim colour. Players from Pakistan are involved in all kinds of negative propaganda on CAA, and the innocent citizens of India are unfortunately falling prey to their malicious design.

In the continuing information warfare, a large segment of India’s youth, especially its students, are made to believe that CAA will deprive millions of Muslims of Indian citizenship, which is far from the truth.

In this backdrop, the Muslim scholars, Ulemas and the Imams have the obligation to realize the malicious design of these inimical forces from within and outside the country and counter the vicious propaganda unleashed against India.

It is high time the opponents understood the truth about CAA and were involved in their routine lives in the interest of their families and society.  All Indian citizens should keep faith in the Indian Constitution and look forward to a better India for their coming generation."
