Arvind Kejriwal Arrest: The arrest of Delhi's Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) President Arvind Kejriwal has sparked criticism from AAP leader Atishi, who vehemently claimed that there exists no concrete evidence against Kejriwal.

Atishi pointed fingers at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), alleging that the arrest was orchestrated under their influence. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) took Arvind Kejriwal into custody after a prolonged two-hour questioning session late on Thursday night, pertaining to the Excise Policy case. Kejriwal is set to appear in court today for further proceedings.

Expressing her concerns about Kejriwal's arrest, AAP leader and Delhi Minister Atishi highlighted that this marks the first instance in which a sitting Chief Minister has been arrested by the central government.

She underscored the unprecedented nature of the situation, noting that never before in the country's history has a national party's national convenor faced arrest post the announcement of the Lok Sabha elections. Atishi firmly alleged that the BJP's involvement hints at a political conspiracy behind Kejriwal's arrest.

Atishi conveyed her optimism towards the Supreme Court's role in upholding democracy in the nation amidst such controversies. She emphasized that the BJP's motive is to hinder Arvind Kejriwal's participation in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Atishi also revealed ongoing communication with the leaders of the INDIA alliance, affirming their solidarity with Arvind Kejriwal in these challenging times.
